A child and two adults are dead following a shooting in the Birdville ISD Stadium parking lot in Haltom City.

Police are investigating a shooting that left three people dead, including a kindergarden student, near the Birdville ISD Stadium in Haltom City . Haltom City police said the deadly shooting happened around 4:30 p.

m. on Friday in the parking lot of the stadium off East Belknap Street.Images from SKY 4 showed crime scene tape around a white car and a U-Haul van, along with multiple emergency vehicles.Police said two female victims, and adult and a juvenile, were found in the car. One died at the scene, and the other died at the hospital.A male, who police identified as the suspect, was also found dead in the parking lot.Birdville ISD later said a kindergarten student from Cheney Hills Elementary and two adults were killed in the shooting. Police believe the incident was a murder-suicide.Jacque Hall is a bus driver who was ending her shift when she saw the crime scene."It's just heart-wrenching to know that something like that happened at our job," Hall told FOX 4's Amelia Jones. "I just hope it wasn't one of the kids from our buses. Because, these kids, I know for me, they're my kids.""You cannot pass by here anymore and not think about these families that their lives were lost, and especially, this child.""This is believed to be an isolated incident and the area is secured. We do not have reason to believe that the incident was related to Birdville Independent School District," Haltom City police said in a statement."They definitely know each other, and we believe they have some kind of family relationship," Sgt. Rick Alexander of the Haltom City Police Department said later on Friday.Birdville ISD confirmed there were no district activities happening at the stadium on Friday afternoon."We are heartbroken this has occurred in our community, and we are working closely with Haltom City Police as they investigate this incident," the district said in a statement.It’s not yet clear what led to the domestic dispute.The names of those involved have not yet been released.
