Comal County has reported its first cases of bird flu, detected in birds found in a New Braunfels park. Preliminary tests confirmed the virus in multiple black vultures recovered at Landa Park , the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department announced Wednesday. The agency said 25 birds from the park have tested positive for the disease so far: 22 vultures and three “waterfowl of unknown species.
