A new poster for Epix's BillyTheKid teases the new Western series from Vikings showrunner Michael Hirst.
The poster for Epix original series Billy The Kid has been released, giving a fresh look at the new show from the makers of Vikings. Billy the Kid, set to release via Epix and Amblin Entertainment, is written by Vikings showrunner Michael Hirst. Like the hit series that precedes it, the new show takes a familiar historical setting and dramatises it; this time focusing on the infamous outlaw, played here by The Gilded Age’s Tom Blyth.
In a new poster released via Twitter by Amblin, Blyth’s Billy can be seen close-up, his eyes obscured by the brim of his iconic hat. The poster reveals the release date for the show, which is set to debut later this month on April 24 on the Epix streaming service with eight episodes. As well as promising “Meet the Kid,” the new Billy The Kid poster also reminds fans of the reputation of Vikings writer Hirst.
