This bold move by Taylor Sheridan, the creator of the drama, underscored the show's lack of sentimentality towards job security, especially given the precarious position of Tommy Norris at the end of the second season. However, Billy Bob Thornton, who plays Tommy Norris, hinted at the Newport Beach TV Fest that viewers need not worry just yet. According to Thornton, Taylor Sheridan has no plans to write Tommy out of 'Landman' anytime soon.
