It sounds like Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin will return to the football field this fall.
Just over three months after Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffered perhaps the most high-profile cardiac arrest episode in the history of professional sports, the 25-year-old received perhaps the best bit of news yet in his road to recovery.on Tuesday that Hamlin, after seeing three cardiac specialists, is fully cleared to resume all activities on the football field, and was in the facility working out.
Since, the former Pitt star has publicly made a recovery, raising millions of dollars for his toy drive foundation in the process and attending numerous events like the Super Bowl. He has also begun advocating for an increased presence of AED machines in public areas like the one that saved his life, as well as encouraging regular people to learn CPR and other life-saving training to help others reach the same result he has.
