Lourd’s father, Bryan, shared the news Tuesday while speaking at Variety’s Dealmakers Breakfast. “My daughter had a baby last night. I left the hospital at 1:30 and got there this morning at 6. I’m a little tired, but happy,” Bryan said. Lourd has yet to confirm her father’s statement or any details about her newborn. The daughter of late actress Carrie Fischer, Lourd first announced her pregnancy in September at the London premiere of Ticket to Paradise. The star posed in a pink sequin dress with tulle sleeves that accentuated her baby bump.

Later at the Los Angles premiere of the film, Lourd joked about shooting the film while in her third trimester and her kid’s future work ethic. "If they ever say they don’t want to do their homework, I’m going to be like, ‘Watch this movie. I was 9,000 years pregnant with you.
