But when she was looking back at her year, making new friends stood out among everything else. Eilish says it was “a year filled with friendship” amid the new heights for her career. “Even though I was saying a lot of things that I wanted to do, that was the real thing that I wanted to do, and I really did it,” she adds. “And yes, I’ve had a lot of good sex. “Touring used to be something that was extremely unpleasant, and I would dread it, and I would only dread it,” she says. “The only reason I did it at all is because I love performing, and even when I dreaded those tours and hated the whole process, I loved performing at the end of the day.” Before the Hit Me Hard and Soft tour kicked off in September 2024, she decided to change her approach.
