A star-studded concert in Inglewood, California brought together some of music's biggest names to raise funds and awareness for those affected by the ongoing crisis in Los Angeles.

Billie Eilish took to the stage at The Kia Forum in Inglewood, California on December 21st, 2024, as part of her Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour. During her performance, Eilish, who has openly expressed her adoration for her hometown, addressed the devastating impact of the ongoing crisis in Los Angeles. She acknowledged the pain and suffering of her fellow residents, offering words of support and solidarity.

Eilish and her brother, Finneas, their frequent musical collaborator, encouraged the audience to take a moment to rest if they needed to, a suggestion that was met with enthusiastic refusal. They then proceeded to deliver a powerful three-song set, stripping back their usual production to showcase the raw emotion and beauty of their music. The concert was part of a larger, star-studded event held at Inglewood's Intuit Dome, featuring a diverse lineup of artists, including Earth, Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Jelly Roll, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, Olivia Rodrigo, Peso Pluma, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Sting, and Tate McRae. Next door at the Kia Forum, the festivities continued with performances by a legendary roster of musicians including Stevie Nicks, Anderson .Paak, Alanis Morissette, John Mayer, Dawes, Graham Nash, Green Day, John Fogerty, Joni Mitchell, No Doubt, P!nk, Stephen Stills, and The Black Crowes. The night culminated in a surprise reunion of the surviving members of Nirvana, joined by a rotating cast of talented female vocalists. To amplify the impact of the event, for every donation pledged during the concert, Connie and Steve Ballmer, the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers and the Intuit Dome, committed to matching it
