Bill Walton calls on San Diego Mayor ToddGloria to resign as a result of his failures leading 'our once great city.'

that there was a record number of deaths in our homeless population, and literally nothing has been done.ignoring dozens of homeless people while giving a speech in Downtown to kick-off Comic-Con and open a small new women’s shelter.

Tuesday, Walton spoke at The Lucky Duck Foundation’s press conference alongside Executive Director Drew Moser, and Executive Committee Member, Dan Shea. All three of whom detailed the failed policies our elected leaders have implemented, but continue to claim are successful. But Walton didn’t stop there.

Walton also provided details of his personal experience being assaulted by members of the homeless population, only to be ignored by the Mayor. “Today’s ‘news conference’ was simply a tantrum full of self-aggrandizing hyperbole and outright lies. San Diegans are frustrated with the worsening homelessness crisis, and Mayor Gloria shares that frustration. But unlike Mr. Walton, Mayor Gloria is translating that frustration into decisive, sustained action to improve the situation. To say that he has done nothing on homelessness is objectively false.
