Asante Samuel is taking shots at everybody — including his former team.
Samuel, who played 11 seasons in the NFL and five years with the Patriots, was a four-time Pro Bowl cornerback who won two Super Bowls in New England.Brady and Belichick won six Super Bowls together throughout the quarterback’s tenure in New England, and the duo is widely considered to be the best coach-quarterback pairing of all time.
After Brady left the Patriots following the 2019 season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the since-retired signal-caller won one Super Bowl and led Tampa Bay to the playoffs three times.Samuel also generated controversy recently when he called out Gardner, the young Jets cornerback, for being overhyped.
