Bill Belichick’s ugly Patriots reality doesn’t mean he should get firedRaiders defensive tackle Adam Butler wasn’t feeling the love from his former coach on Sunday after Las Vegas defeated the New England Patriots. And Butler wasn’t going to let that slide without saying something.
“It did make me very upset that Bill didn’t even have the respect to say anything to me after the game,” Butler told reporters at his locker. “Not even congratulate me, tell me, ‘You look good,’ or, ‘You don’t look good,’ ‘Kiss my a–,’ something. He didn’t say anything. Kind of felt disrespected, made me feel bad. I know Coach Belichick has bigger things to worry about obviously. They’re going through a tough time, but I mean geez, wave, something. But nothing.”Butler wasn’t wrong about what could be on Belichick’s mind, considering where the Patriots stand through the first six games of the season.
