CLEVELAND, Ohio - Motorcycles and Jeeps lined the streets outside Mount Sinai Friendship United Church as Mila Chatman and Amor Wilson were laid to rest. Dozens of bikers and Jeep drivers from across Northeast Ohio escorted the two sisters to their final resting place.
The girls were at the center of a case that rocked the region.Tom, who goes by “Cinder,” rode in from Geneva, more than an hour away. He rides with Bikers Against Child Abuse, the Buckeye Chapter. “Anytime children die, for any reason, they deserve to be honored,” Cinder said. “That’s the reason why I’m here. I don’t know anybody here. But it’s people coming together to support some children who lost their lives way too soon.” Curtis Houston Jr. rode with the Mystic Knights, a group that showed up in full force to support the girls’ families. “It touched everybody,” Houston said. “When everybody heard about it, it touched us. It was the talk of the city, what happened. So it touched a lot of people very close.”“I’m glad that people can come together — and that’s what it shows,” Houston said. “The Jeep community, everybody came together for something like this. They know the city’s got their back.”East Canton shuts down unlicensed day care facility after 8-month-old baby dies‘Armed and dangerous’ Massillon rape suspect arrestedOhio Attorney General opens new gun range for training, breaks ground on evidence collection facility
