The innovation has supposedly come from Korean company ITM Semiconductor and will make it into both of Samsung's and Apple’s phones next year.
Samsung, too, has upped battery size from 3000mAh in the S9 to 3400 in the S10. Whilst the Galaxy S10 is actually slimmer than the S9, it’s taller and wider, which probably helped accommodate the larger battery. and people holding on to devices for longer, there’s a need for a more practical device and manufacturers are responding accordingly. The visually stunning shinny new toy isn’t the sell it used to be. , with a much larger battery in the Pixel 4A and Pixel 5.
