203-unit housing development located in San Jose near the Capitol light rail station at the corner of East Capitol Expressway and Narvaez Avenue, concept.SAN JOSE — A big San Jose housing development proposed for a site near a key transit stop that could produce hundreds of residences is poised to zip through the city approval process in a streamlined fashion.

“MidPen Housing, in partnership with Santa Clara Valley Transportation Agency, aims to create an Emerging Urban District Mobility Hub by repurposing the existing surface parking into a vibrant, walkable, bikeable, sustainable, and transit-oriented mixed-use development,” according to a post on a VTA-created website.

For a one-person household, the income limit would range from $34,800 to $63,550. The income limit for a four-person household would range from $49,700 to $90,800, VTA and MidPen Housing stated.
