Big Mouth season 7's ending shows its characters changing again, building anticipation for the final installment of the hit Netflix show.

Big Mouth follows the lives of a group of middle school children on the cusp of puberty, and the story of their changing bodies and developing sexualities.
Big Mouth's season 7 finale saw Nick meet a new friend, another Andrew , sending Glouberman into a spiral. Andrew's first day of high school was troubling enough, having been beaten up by Pumbaa , but not having Nick with him was the icing on the cake. Ironically, the new Andrew looks very similar to Glouberman: tall and wearing a pair of thick spectacles.
Jessi feels a connection to Leah and wants to be exactly like her, which leads to her collapsing due to an infected belly button piercing. Jessi also befriends high school student Lulu , and although their friendship starts off rocky, it's clear that there's a connection between the two.
The season finale acknowledged Lola and Jay's relationship past together, leaving it open for the two to reunite in the show's final season. Meanwhile, Matthew befriends the high school's Queer Choir, as well as growing closer to Caleb . The Big Mouth season 7 finale also saw Missy's concerns over starting high school and becoming consumed by dread, resulting in her parents deciding to home-school her.
