ticket down in Virginia is now a multimillionaire, matching all six numbers in Friday night’s drawing worth $348 million. Lottery officials said the winning ticket was sold somewhere in Virginia, and the jackpot for Tuesday’s drawing now reverts to $50 million.
In Friday’s drawing, no lottery players across the nation won any top secondary prizes ranging from $1 million to $10 million. However, one ticket sold in New Jersey won a prize of $40,000 for matching four of the five white balls and the gold Mega ball. The New Jersey Lottery said that prize is normally $10,000 but it was boosted to $40,000 because of the 4X multiplier. The lucky ticket was sold at Mike’s Deli on Oak Hill Road in Red Bank, lottery officials said. Lottery officials said details about where the winning ticket was purchased, or “whether it was bought at a retail location or online” will likely be released later on Saturday.N.J. weather: Will intense heat return in July?
