SAN JOSE — A big industrial center of the type that often attracts Amazon has gotten a key go-ahead for construction through a new building permit for a development site in San Jose, public records show.
Duke Realty, acting through an affiliate, paid about $40.2 million in October 2021 for the parcels, which are near the corner of Silver Creek Valley Road and Piercy Road. The site totals about 15.1 acres and is just east of the interchange of U.S. Highway 101 and Blossom Hill Road, according to city and county records.
