The official spoke on condition of anonymity to The Associated Press, discussing internal Biden administration thinking. “By the time he comes into office, this now is a law and this isn’t just a matter of him waving a magic wand with an executive order to try to postpone it because now it’s already a law, which erects much steeper legal and bureaucratic hurdles to actually then undoing it," Kreps said.
