President Joe Biden will raise the issue of cyberattacks with Russian President Vladimir Putin when the two leaders meet later this month, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Wednesday. On Tuesday, the White House said the Federal Bureau of Investigation is probing a ransomware attack on meatpacking company JBS USA Holdings Inc.
and that the company said the ransom demand came from a group"likely based in Russia." Psaki said Biden believes that Putin and the Russian government have a role to play in stopping attacks like the one on JBS. The two leaders are scheduled to meet June 16 in Geneva.
