President Biden visits the UK ahead of a key Nato summit where Ukraine membership is expected to dominate discussions. kirancmoodley reports.
In a few hours, Joe Biden will arrive in the UK where he’ll meet the king and the prime minister, but it will be a brief visit before both he and Rishi Sunak travel to the Nato summit in Lithuania.
Top of the agenda there will be Ukraine – which has been campaigning to join Nato. That’s being resisted by the US President, who seems to prefer weaponry as a show of support. His decision this week to send cluster bombs to Ukraine has prompted unease among many Nato allies.
