“We saw a blue pill with markings that were indicative of a fentanyl pill,” Green told KING-TV, an NBC affiliate in Seattle. “Within two minutes, he is limp in my arms; he is whimpering and panting. I thought we were going to lose him.” “We were just lucky we were able to identify what it was and that Dunkin didn’t swallow the whole pill because if he had, he likely would have died,” said Green. “I think it’s really unfortunate that we have to be on high alert when we’re doing something as simple as taking our dog for a walk.”
