Meanwhile, Biden has been rallying European allies to respond to Russia's threats in lockstep with his more aggressive plan. Meeting with Scholz Monday, Biden will be looking for Scholz to express unity with the U.S. posture towards Russia."We have made our position very clear, which is that if Russia invades Ukraine in one way or another, Nord Stream 2 will not move forward," the official said on a briefing call with reporters.
