Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-GA., speaking on the first day of the Republican National Convention, Monday, July 15, 2024, in Milwaukee. President Joe Biden on Wednesday pushed back against what he called an “onslaught of lies” surrounding hurricanes Helene and Milton.
“Trump has led the onslaught of lies,” Biden said. “Marjorie Taylor Greene is saying the federal government is literally controlling the weather. We are controlling the weather. It’s beyond ridiculous.“It’s ridiculous for anyone to lie and say it can’t be done,” Greene tweeted last week. “Ask your government if the weather is manipulated or controlled. Did you ever give permission to them to do it? Are you paying for it? Of course you are,” Greene tweeted on Monday.
