Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden repeated his disavowal of violence after a man was fatally shot in Portland on Saturday and asked President Donald Trump to do the same.
" to the victim in the Portland shooting, but has not offered similar condolences for the protesters killed in Kenosha.
Rep. Karen Bass, D-Calif. – whom Biden considered as a potential running mate – used strong language in a CNN interview Sunday. In his statement on Sunday, Biden denounced Trump for failing"to call on his supporters to stop seeking conflict" and claimed Trump thinks"war in our streets is good for his reelection chances."
Biden continued, saying"we must condemn the incitement of hate and resentment that led to this deadly clash" before again going after Trump.
