Staffers on Joe Biden's campaign have been asked to 'refrain from posting about the situation on social media,' following President Trump's COVID-19 testing result.
Biden is reportedly being tested for the virus this morning amid the president's announcement. Every campaign staff member who attended the first presidential debate in Cleveland on Tuesday is also expected to be undergo testing today, NBC reported.
Trump is expected to quarantine for 14 days following his diagnosis, temporarily suspending his campaign trail. The president was expected to take part in a roundtable in Washington D.C. on Friday, before travelling to Florida for a Make America Great Again event. All of the president's in-person events for the day have been cancelled.
