by JACKSON WALKER | The National DeskPresident Joe Biden’s reelection campaign launched a new effort Tuesday targeting voters in the LGBT community, aiming to drive their civil engagement.announcing the launch, Vice President Kamala Harris quoted LGBT activist Harvey Milk by noting “rights are won only by those who make their voices heard." The clip also included an excerpt of President Biden saying "LGBT rights are human rights.
The Biden campaign seeks engagement from leaders in the LGBT community, such as drag queens, elected officials and “LGBTQ+ faith leaders,” the publication wrote. Actor Wilson Cruz and openly gay Democratic Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., will both reportedly contribute to the effort.
