Biden skipped his last two opportunities to do a Super Bowl interview but did sit down for an interview in 2021 and 2022. He caught the most flak for his most recent absence, a free media opportunity heading into an election year.His campaign said he decided to skip the interview to let viewers focus on the game, but a Democratic campaign operativeNBC News that it was “a problem” to miss what would’ve been an interview seen by millions of voters.
