House Republicans have requested information on the Biden family's finances from the Treasury Department.

's approval rating is at its highest level in more than a year, according to analysis by poll tracker FiveThirtyEight, as the administration faces probes from the new Republican majority in the House of Representatives.

The president's approval rating was 44.1 percent, while 50.9 percent of Americans disapproved of Biden. That comes after a number of polls were conducted in early January. The last time Biden had approval of 44.1 percent in FiveThirtyEight's analysis was on October 19, 2021, when the share of Americans who disapproved of the president was 49.9 percent.
