The president stole the show Monday night for all the wrong reasons.

The president appeared to hold the pose for at least 30 seconds before snapping out of the stupor when Philonise Floyd, the brother of George Floyd, wrapped an arm around his shoulder. Biden then raised a hand to his face as if coughing before returning to the stiff pose. Vice President Kamala Harris, meanwhile, clapped and sang to the music and even ended up dancing on stage with the musicians.to the crowd. In that speech, he warned of “old ghosts in new garments” trying to take away the freedoms of Black Americans before his speech became slurred and unintelligible.
“That’s why I awarded the Medal of Freedom to Ms. Opal Lee as well, the grandmother of Juneteenth,” Biden said during the speech. “She know loss, she knew so loss our freedom can never be secured.” The pair of blunders earned Biden widespread mockery across social media, particularly from Republicans.in France. An awkward clip circulating social media showed a rigid President Biden hunching backward into a chair while on stage at the event.
