Six states were affected by the storm - Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee.
President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will fly over the Carolinas and Georgia Wednesday to see the unprecedented damage from Biden is scheduled to first participate in an aerial tour of storm damage in Greenville, South Carolina then head to Raleigh, North Carolina before taking an aerial tour of Asheville, North Carolina.
FEMA is sending additional generators, 150 ambulances, trailers full of meals and water and 215 additional Search and Rescue personnel to North Carolina, according to the White House. "They're having a very hard time getting the, getting the President on the phone he won't get on. The vice president, she’s out someplace campaigning, looking for money. So they got to be, they have to be focused over here. It’s too big," Trump told reporters after he arrived in the hard-hit south Georgia city.
