A bicyclist died Saturday morning following a collision with a motor vehicle in Middlesex Borough.
Officers responded to South Avenue and Howard Street just before 7 a.m. for a 911 call about a crash, according to borough police. Investigators learned that an SUV rear-ended the bicyclist while both were traveling west on South Avenue, police said. The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the Jeep declined medical attention, according to police.No charges have been announced, but the crash remains under investigation, police said.
