The accident happened about 7 p.m. Thursday near the Salado Creek Greenway in the 200 block of Northeast Loop 410.A bicyclist who was hit and killed by a car after riding through a stop sign Thursday evening has been identified by the Bexar County medical examiner.

Craig Steven Gulledge, 53, died from blunt force injuries from the accident, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office. The accident happened about 7 p.m. Thursday near the Salado Creek Greenway in the 200 block of Northeast Loop 410. Gulledge reportedly disregarded a stop sign at the access road intersection and rode into the path of an oncoming vehicle, according to the San Antonio police. The driver of the car was unable to avoid hitting the bicyclist, the police said.
