The two new patients from Legazpi City, the DOH said, were exposed to frontliners and healthcare workers.
One of the patients, a 53-year-old male, was exposed to a frontliner from Victory Village, while the 32-year-old female patient was a close contact of a healthcare worker from Sagpon village. All three patients consulted Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital, but DOH and their respective local government units have yet to give updates on whether or not they have been admitted to the hospital for isolation.
Albay has reverted back to Enhanced Community Quarantine also on Saturday, a welcome development in the province as 24 more suspected COVID-19 patients await the result of their swab tests.
