Pelajar sekolah membeli kuih yang baru dibuat oleh para biarawati di Pusat Pendidikan dan Kerohanian Salesian di Singil-dong, Seoul yang bertujuan membantu kanak-kanak Turki dan Syria. Semasa para biarawati men-yiapkan kuih taiyaki di hadapan pusat mereka pada Mac 6 lalu, ramai pelajar sekolah berdekatan bergegas membeli kuih tersebut. Sr Kim mengatakan kuih taiyaki menjadi sangat popular sehingga tempat itu menjadi penuh sesak dan semua kuih habis dijual dalam masa singkat.
