Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles, announced her upcoming memoir, ‘Matriarch,’ and Beyonce had a hilarious reaction
The fashion designer and businesswoman took to Instagram on Tuesday, October 29, to announce her upcoming memoir, Matriarch, which will be released on April 22, 2025. Knowles, 70, also shared a photo of the cover, which features a painted portrait of herself inside an ornate gold frame.
Knowles chose the title Matriarch because she feels inspired by “the wisdom that women pass on to each other, generation to generation — and the inner wisdom we long to uncover in ourselves.” “I want to share this knowledge now, one to one with the reader, as we laugh and sometimes cry together through all the stages of our lives,” she wrote.“Mama, I couldn’t be prouder. My love for you goes beyond what I can say. You put your heart into this book. I’m happy for you to share some of the stories that shaped you into who you are. To know you is to love you,” she wrote before quipping, “But please don’t spill too much Mama Tea.
In a May 2015 essay she penned for Time, Tina also referred to her niece Angie Beyince as one of her daughters.
