Beyoncé has announced her upcoming Cowboy Carter Tour, set to kick off later in 2025. The singer revealed the news on Instagram, sharing a video of an LED sign displaying the tour's name and a picture of herself with bleached-blonde hair. This announcement follows the release of her country album 'Cowboy Carter' in March 2024.
The singer, 43, revealed via Instagram on Saturday, February 1, that she will be hitting the road for the Cowboy Carter Tour later in 2025. She posted a video clip of an LED sign that bore the concert's name, followed by an image of herself with bleached-blonde hair. Further details of the tour have yet to be revealed.
She added the simple caption, “Look at that horse,” which are lyrics from her Cowboy Carter song “Sweet Honey Buckiin’.” In light of the recent wildfires in Los Angeles, Beyoncé postponed the announcement until Saturday. For years Beyoncé has been immersed in a lengthy creative process. She previously confirmed in July 2022 that she was working on a “three-act project” that took three years to make amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Her 2022 album, Renaissance, was referred to as Act I and featured the singer leaning into dance music.
Beyoncé subsequently embarked on the Renaissance World Tour in 2023 and released a Renaissance concert film that December.“It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed … and it was very clear that I wasn’t,” she wrote via Instagram at the time, seemingly referring to how she was allegedly treated during and after her appearance and performance at the 2016 CMA Awards.
