said he won't"persecute" women seeking an abortion after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade the day before.
Salazar, who has two daughters, said in the post that he would defend his daughters' ability to do what they feel is right with their own bodies and that their choice was"none of my business."The reason why gas prices are so high was decades in the making. Here's what Biden is trying to fix. "My job is chasing predators, rapists and human traffickers, not someone exercising their right," Salazar wrote."... If it’s truly about protecting children, how about starting with the ones in our schools?"
The sheriff also chastised the Supreme Court and the bureaucrats in Washington, D.C., and Austin in his social media post for"attempting to impose their own supposed morals on others."Decades of policing: The 54-year-old has been in law enforcement for more than three decades, starting as an officer with the San Antonio Police Department when he was 22. Prior to being elected as the sheriff in 2016, Salazar held multiple positions with SAPD, including patrolman, bike patrol, director of communications and others.Salazar was born in San Antonio and grew up in the area while his father was stationed at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph Air Force Base.
