SAN ANTONIO - The Bexar County Sheriff 's Office provided the public with some new information to help clear up some of the confusion about ICE Raids .
"We have not been asked to participate. We have not been asked to attend any meetings," said Salazar. "We've heard that Bexar County is on some sort of a list for raids, but I have not seen anything official that that may happen. I can tell you the sheriff's office has not been asked to participate in any raids."
"So, you know, obviously we're going to cooperate with the law, but we also still have to bear in mind that racial profiling is still illegal, right? We can't just this is not no matter who the president is, we don't just have carte blanche to go tell first responders go forth and go find people of color and place them under arrest."
"I'm seeing that on Facebook, just like everybody else is, but I have not heard or seen anything official, and again, we have not been asked to play any part in any sort of raids like that," the sheriff said. "So I don't know if that's actually occurring or if it's just kind of urban myth on social media"Since President Donald J.
