Sgt. Timothy Williams, a 32-year veteran of the force, died a week after suffering a medical emergency during a reported traffic stop in Northeast Bexar County.
A Bexar County Sheriff's Office sergeant for more than 30 years who suffered a medical emergency during a traffic stop earlier has died. Sergeant Timothy Williams , 60, was on life support at Methodist Hospital until he died Saturday, according to a spokesperson with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office. The Williams family requested privacy and asked that BCSO not provide honors. On Aug. 17, Williams was speaking with a motorist before 2 a.m.
Williams, a full body donor, left the hospital in the presence of his fellow officers in an honor walk,' the association said. 'Thank you to all the members of the SCORE unit who put in more than 100 hours of overtime to be with the family.
