Bexar County elections administrator urges voters to meet important deadlines for November election

Bexar County Elections Administrator Jacque Callanen is urging voters to make sure they’re registered to vote and do their research for what’s on the ballot in the Nov. 5 election.

Callanen said that as of Monday, the elections office had processed 32,000 mail-in ballot applications, which is much lower than in 2020, when 121,000 were processed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.Callanen said the November election ballot will be lengthy and will differ depending on where the voter lives. In addition to federal, state and county elections, many municipalities and school districts will also hold elections.
