BetMGM attaches its name to one of New Mexico’s largest sportsbooks, which is owned and run by the Pueblo of Isleta.

Tribes in New Mexico have tribal compacts with the state to operate casinos and sportsbooks. BetMGM will not be offering a mobile app in New Mexico. Isleta’s sportsbook will be the 29th brick-and-mortar shop to carry the BetMGM brand.

The renowned sports betting company operates retail locations in nearly a dozen states or jurisdictions, including Nevada, Ohio, Arizona, and Massachusetts. BetMGM is also licensed to operate mobile wagering in 21 states, so if New Mexico does legalize online sports betting at some point, BetMGM is in a great position to be one of the first operators in the state.
