However, a successful surgery resulted in the reality TV star becoming cancer free just two months later. The cancer returned the following year, and Beth Chapman was back in the hospital for emergency surgery to clear throat blockage obstructing her airways in November 2018. She was hospitalized again in April after experiencing difficulty breathing.
Although she started chemotherapy in January, Beth Chapman hinted at discontinuing treatment while speaking at a Mother's Day service at church in Florida in May. Calling the diagnosis her"ultimate test of faith," Beth Chapman said,"chemotherapy is not in my bag, people." "Sorry, that's just not for me," she continued."So for me, this is the ultimate test of faith. This is my ultimate lesson. And it will either be taught to me or to you. I am fine with taking the hit for everyone else, because I think I know another guy who did the same thing.", which aired for eight seasons from 2005 to 2012. The show followed Duane Chapman's bounty hunting and bail bonds business, of which Beth Chapman was a business partner.
