Seated at a piano in the middle of a darkly lit street, Keys brought to life the collective anguish and grief felt by those in the Black community with a set that moved hearts., who were all about to begin new chapters of their lives. But now, instead, they’re “another dream lost.” Keys poignantly ended her set with a wide overview shot of the names, drawn in chalk, of the Black woman and men lost along the way.
