The Toyota Corolla Cross has already become a major force in the passenger car market in South Africa in its brief existence – registering as the top-selling SUV in the country in March.
data showed that the Japanese carmaker sold 2,384 units of the crossover vehicle last month, placing it ahead of the Volkswagen Polo Vivo and only behind the Toyota Hilux in all classes.
Toyota now dominates the SUV market, thanks to the new Corolla Cross, the Urban Cruiser , and Toyota Fortuner .
