The Best Of Houston® 2022 Best Museum is the Holocaust Museum Houston.
Best Museum: Holocaust Museum Houston
Going strong for more than 25 years, the Holocaust Museum Houston is not just any museum. It is a time capsule to a somber history as well as a beacon of hope. Educational in nature, it is nearly impossible to not notice the deep connection to history found within its walls.
The property underwent a $34 million renovation that concluded in 2019, which has allowed it to expand its galleries to include a larger examination of human rights and genocides throughout recent history. If COVID-19 kept museum lovers at home for the past few years, now is a good time to check out the Holocaust Museum's new digs.
