, had a first-time red carpet dress code, “classic Hollywood glamour,” and the stars took it in stride. The theme nodded to the 1920s and ’30s but left room for play. Silhouettes were long with controlled volumes and embellished with lace, velvet, sequins, and embroidery.
Enhancing the theme were sheer panels and the occasional opera gloves that added drama with a side of glamour.was rocking a Christian Cowen lace slip dress that was daring and channeled silver screen sirens from the era. Gwyneth Paltrow, back on the carpet, brought timeless elegance in a plunging black lace Givenchy gown that was also very 30s in mood. Queen of the carpet,, continued her rule with a one-of-a-kind sculptural, sequined dress by theatrical designer Thom Browne, while Chase Infiniti, a Louis Vuitton ambassador, lit up the carpet in a sparkling mermaid silhouette.
