Bernie Sanders, who is recovering from a stent procedure, still plans to participate in this month’s Democratic presidential debate in Ohio
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders still plans to attend this month’s Democratic presidential debate in Ohio, a spokesman said, despite undergoing a procedure this week to open an artery blockage earlier this week.
Mr. Sanders, 78 years old, had two stents put in after he experienced chest pain during a campaign event Tuesday night. Tests were being run to determine the diagnosis, campaign spokesman Mike Casca said. The campaign has canceled events until further notice.
