Biden has been racking up GOP endorsements in recent days, but he still faces some weakness on his left flank.
Senator Bernie Sanders and former Ohio Gov. John Kasich, a Republican, are about as far from each other on the ideological spectrum as two people can get, but they both plan to use their DNC speeches Monday night to pitch Biden to non-Democrats, arguing that the stakes of the 2020 election go beyond ideology.
