One of the Bengals star wide receivers is expected to enter free agency next offseason.
The Cincinnati Bengals are entering the 2024 season with the mindset of a Super Bowl or bust. Following a down 2023 year that saw them deal with all sorts of injuries, the Bengals believe that they can get themselves right back into the thick of everything in the AFC. Cincinnati isn't too far removed from going to the Super Bowl or reaching two straight AFC Championship games, so it's not out of the realm of possibility.
Higgins has turned himself into a true weapon on offense for the Bengals since being drafted in the second-round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He is one-half of one of the stronger wide receiver duos around the NFL, alongside star Ja'Marr Chase, who is looking for his own long-term contract with the Bengals. Cincinnati seems to be prioritizing Chase over Higgins, which could see the latter receiver leave town.
