Bengals' Joe Burrow Cleared For Contact, Preseason Plans Revealed

Bengals star quarterback Joe Burrow has been cleared for contact following his wrist injury last season.

The Cincinnati Bengals 2023 season didn't go as planned following two straight years as one of the best teams in the AFC. Cincinnati finished with a record of 9-8 on the season, missing the postseason altogether.Much of this was due to star quarterback Joe Burrow missing time due to a wrist injury he suffered against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football in Week 10. Burrow had season-ending wrist surgery and the Bengals tried the best they could to reach the postseason.

If Burrow is able to participate normally in camp this season and get more reps in the preseason with this new squad, he will be much more prepared for the season opener against the New England Patriots on Sep. 8.Before his wrist injury last season, Burrow was a little shaky due to the hamstring problem. His mobility in the pocket, one of his main strengths, was limited but he pushed through and the Bengals started to look like themselves.
